AIDS/HIV+2 red ribbon


A channel is available on the IRC network called AIDS/HIV+2. This chat channel has been set up to offer friendly, uncensored chat, support, and information for anyone involved or concerned around all aspect of HIV/AIDS.The channel is registered on both Undernet and Chatnet. The channel does not just offer information chat & advice, but is also a place to meet people and make friends with people who have similar outlooks and backgrounds. Internet Relay Chat is a way for people to meet and chat in groups or 1 2 1 over the internet. To do this if you are using a PC, you will need an IRC client program like mIRC or pirch

We have now been going for well over two years and you will meet lots of lovely people who visit the channel regularly. In February '97 we had our first channel 'gathering' in Phoenix Arizona which was attended by around 30 people. It was such a great success! There are many IRC servers available for the Undernet network, you will receive a list of those with your copy of mIRC or pirch. A few Chatnet server addresses are :
