ENKEV Natural Fibres Protect Delicate Products

Expensive equipment and delicate products deserve the best possible protection during transport and storage.

Prior to the introduction of cheap synthetic materials in the early seventies, Cocolok (Rubberised Coir) and Rubberised Hair were popular packaging materials. They are still widely used today, particularly in critical applications. Many industrial packers prefer Cocolok or Rubberised Hair because of its shock absorbing properties.

The demand to protect our environment shows an increasing awareness of ENKEV's Natural Fibres. This interest is clear; our raw materials are purely natural - Coir Fibre from the coconut-husk, Animal Hair and Natural Latex (the milk from the rubber trees). All these materials are constantly reproduced without exhausting nature. Even the production process, binding the curled coir fibres or hair with natural latex, does not harm the environment at all.

All these packaging materials are durable materials, which can be re-used many times, and after their useable life, they can be recycled or disposed without problem. However, let's not forget the most important thing - Cocolok and Rubberised Hair are excellent packaging materials - shock absorbing even at a wide range of temperatures, vibration absorbing, resilient, anti-static, ventilating, durable and dust-free.

Industrial packers, The Ministry of Defence, the electronic industry and transport companies etc. all use our packaging materials. Contact us at ENKEV (UK) for further information.

From Sheet Material to Moulded Product

ENKEV Natural Fibres are marketed in the form of sheets of various sizes, pressfloor, die-cuttings, and moulded products. There is, of course, the standard range, but the products are almost as versatile as ENKEV Natural Fibres themselves.

ENKEV can also undertake customised work to the client's own specifications. Moulds are fabricated in-house; therefore smaller runs of moulded parts are feasible as well.
